What is Google Checkout?
It is just another way to pay for your items during the checkout process. It's just like Paypal, with some minor differences. You store any Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover card in their system for payment. And the name Google says it all. They are innovative and secure. Millions of people use Google everyday, and they are now counting on consumers to trust their checkout method.

Is it safe?
Extremely. Google's the industry standard in online web use and they have invested millions to make sure your data is secure.

So is Google now shipping PromoFrames product?
No. We at PromoFrames will still ship your product. Google is just a payment method.

Why are we offering Google Checkout?
We want to offer the customer a way to store credit card info online in an extremely secure environment with a brand name, so that credit cards don't have to be entered again.

Do I HAVE to use Google Checkout?
No. If you are not sure about Google Checkout, just choose the regular "Checkout" button and proceed as normal. We're safe too!

Will you still have my order history on PromoFrames servers?
If you already have an account and have made orders with us online, then yes. Your past orders will still show up when signing into PromoFrames even though you used Google Checkout to pay for your items. If you don't already have a PromoFrames account, if you later wish to view order history on our side, please call us and we'll set you up with an account.

How will the checkout process work?
Place your items in the PromoFrames website shopping cart. When you click Google Checkout, you will be taken to Google servers to set up a Google account if you don't already have one, then just fill out your personal info to complete your order. You will still receive email notices such as shipment tracking info, but you may see it coming from Google email servers.

Should I hide email information as a Google option?
We don't recommend this but it is at your free will. By having email and phone information on our side, we can contact you more easily if we have questions about your order.

Can I use Google Checkout for phone orders including special imprint orders?
Yes. However, the process is a little different. You will need a Google Checkout online account. You don't put anything in the PromoFrames website shopping cart. We will email you a Google Checkout invoice. You will then click on the link to pay at the Google Checkout website.

2. Google Checkout Tutorial.

After adding your purchase on PromoFrames.com to the shopping cart, follow these simple steps to process the order through Google Checkout.

1) First screen you will come to shows what you ordered, the shipping costs and the total. Please note: TAX will show up initially, however if you are NOT in Illinois this will NOT be charged.

2) If the order is complete, simply log into your google account or enter your info from scratch. One of the benefits of google is that it will securely store your credit card info, so you don't have to re-enter it more then once.

3)After reviewing the information is correct, click "Agree & Continue"

Any future orders won't require you to fill in all of the information. Just your email and password!

1) The following screen allows you to select your shipping method of choice. Tax charges showing in previous page, as long as not in Illinois should not show up at this point.

2) This step as well by clicking change under the ship to or pay with options allows you to change any information you might need.

3) To be added to our mailing list about specials/sales and updates make sure the "subscribe to PromoFrames" box remains checked.

4) After all information is correct click "place your order now"

5) A confirmation email will be sent to you confirming your order.

Credit Card Declined?
An automatic declined message will show up and will not complete the purchase.
You'll receive an email from Google to notify you of the failed charge. After receiving notification, you must sign in to your Google Account and update your payment information within three days. If you do not update your payment information within three days of receiving the notification, your order will automatically be cancelled.
Authorization
Authorize full amount on initial charge.
$1 authorization to confirm credit card validation. Charge is automatically removed, but can take anywhere from 7-14 days to show back on your card.
